There are three major markets (Tarad) in Nong Khai. The first one called Pho Chai market where located on Prajak road and is a morning market. This name came from its location. Right! this market is located near Pho Chai temple and Prasai road.
The second and third market are Chaiporn market and Wat Tat market, respectively. These names came from the location like the first market. As you can guess, they are located near Chaiporn and Tat temple, respectively. Both are located on Michai road and are the even market.
